The Ostrom Brothers Band was founded in 2019 by Rich, David, and Daniel Ostrom. The brothers had been playing songs together on and off through the years, usually at family functions or house parties (the very first OBB show could be traced back to New Years Eve of 2013, when Dan Ostrom filled in on bass for David and Rich's band, Boardwalk Arcade). Now that the three brothers are once again centrally located in Minneapolis, the time seemed right to put together a new musical project.

With a focus on playing the hit songs they grew up on, as well as introducing a new spin on contemporary gems, OBB set out to inject some youthful energy, and journeyman experience into the Minnesota live music scene.

The lineup was rounded out with the addition of the exceptional bass guitar talents of Matt Bruce, a longtime friend of the brothers and former band mate. Bruce is a driven musician, with an uncanny sense of rhythm and tone in his bass playing, and he also doubles on keyboards for when the song calls for it.
 

While Dan Ostrom decided to part ways in an official capacity in 2021, the group enlisted new guitarist Mike Rogers to pick up guitar duties. With a custom, hand-built Telecaster, Mike has been a great addition to the line-up.
